At Revolution Laundry, yes. Our White Center laundromat offers full dry cleaning service through Corry’s Fine Dry Cleaning, so you can drop off dry clean only items while you do your regular laundry.
Dry cleaning is handled by Corry’s Fine Dry Cleaning, our local parent company, which has been cleaning clothes in Seattle since 1967.
Items labeled “dry clean” or “dry clean only” should be dry cleaned, along with suits, blazers, structured coats, silk, wool, rayon, and garments with beading, sequins, or delicate trim. When in doubt, bring it in and our staff will recommend the best way to clean it.
Not exactly. Dry cleaning uses a liquid solvent instead of water to clean fabric. Because the process uses little or no water, it’s gentler on fabrics that can shrink, stretch, or lose their shape in a regular wash.
Most suits only need dry cleaning a few times a year, or when they’re visibly stained or hold odors. Too frequent cleaning can wear down fabric over time. Between cleanings, brushing and airing out your suit helps keep it fresh.
Dry cleaning removes many stains, especially oil-based ones, and our staff can pre-treat problem spots. Point out stains when you drop off and let us know what caused them if you can. The sooner a stain is treated, the better the chance of removing it.
